www.indiancoastguard.nic.in – Online applications are invited from unmarried male Indian citizens to join as Yantriks in Indian Coast Guard for 01/2013 batch. Notification is published in employment news paper and www.joincoastguard.org for this employment and online application will be available from 3rdSeptember to 17th September, 2012 in the same website.

Emoluments:Rs. 17,000/- approximately at the beginning + insurance coverage of Rs. 20,00,000/-.
Age: born between 1stFeb, 1991 and 31st January, 1995.
Academic Qualifications: An AICTE recognized diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering disciplines with at least 60% marks.
Application Process: candidates check their eligibility given in the notification and log on to www.joincoastguard.org from 3rd September to 17thSeptember, 2012 to apply online. After submitting online application take two printouts of the application form. One copy is required at the testing center along with age proof, mark sheets and other credentials while the other copy is required during the entire selection process.
Selection Process:
Selection of Yantrik 01/2013 batch is done through written test, Physical Fitness Test, Interview and Medical test. The written examination is based in their discipline of Diploma and the question paper will be bilingual. Succeed candidates in the written examination will have to attend for PFT in which 1.6 K.M run in 6 and a half minutes, 20 squat ups and 10 pushups should be done. Those who qualify these two tests will undergo a medical examination, after that the final list of selected candidates is prepared.
